Spontaneously after 8th grade graduation I asked Mick, Linus and Sean to do a little photo shoot to celebrate going into High School! And here we are … 4 years later. Our boys are Seniors at the Crown Point High School, for about another week! Time really does fly and although exciting it is bittersweet for all the parents.

Beginning of the week I met up with the 3 Amigos and we shot a couple pictures by the brick wall and former green door by the Crown Point Square. Seeing the pictures from end of 8th grade vs. HS Seniors side by side is really making me laugh and cry! Handsome young boys who each have their own friends and lives yet stay connected and happy that they have each other to goof around…

I asked them to fill out my blog questions and in true teenage boy fashion they kept their answers short and sweet. Emphasis on sweet!

1. What's your favorite song right now? What do you play on repeat?:

Mick: I don’t want this night to end- luke bryan

Linus: Young Man’s Blues - Parker McCollum

Sean: Fireworks - Kate Perry

We did Mick’s Senior Portraits Around Town and had a great time last fall. For Sean’s we went to Gary to an abandoned High School and Lake County Fairgrounds. For Linus we went to Chicago and Hamstra Gardens.

2. What are 3 things you want to accomplish in the next 5 years?:

Mick: Graduate college, have a good job and have a successful college baseball career.

Linus: Graduate college, get drafted, make money!

Sean: Buy my mom a house, get a job I enjoy and make a lot of money!

3. What is a quote you love or live by?:

Mick: “Go big or go home.”

Linus: “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”

Sean: “For he is with us who can be against us.”

4. What helps you through difficult times?:

Mick: Taking deep breaths to relax.

Linus: Going to the gym, golfing, fishing, or talking to friends.

Sean: My Mom

5. If you were a super hero, what's your power?:

Mick: Super strength

Linus: Flying

Sean: Flying

6. What (Netflix) series do you watch or love to rewatch?:

Mick: Breaking Bad

Linus: Dexter or OuterBanks

Sean: Documentaries

7. If you were famous, what would you be famous for?:

Mick: Going viral for something stupid I did

Linus: Baseball

Sean: An invention or a movement

8. Who do you look up to?:

Mick: My parents

Linus: My family; they teach me valuable lessons

Sean: My uncle Mark

9. What fashion trend do you think is ridiculous?:

Mick: baggy jeans and baggy clothes

Linus: Jeans that are 4 sizes too big

Sean: Skinny Jeans

10. What is your favorite outfit ever? :

Mick: Khakis and a quarter zip

Linus: Shorts - Lululemon, T-shirts - Hollister or Abercrombie

Sean: Camo pants, black tee

11. What are your plans after High School and also this summer?:

Mick: Work this summer and then go to college.

Linus: I am playing baseball for the Playmakers with my buddies this summer and then going to college at Olive-Harvey to play baseball and study Accounting.

Sean: Move to Hawaii eventually

12. What would be the name of a movie you star in?:

Mick: Something like Step Brothers or something

Linus: How to spend a summer

Sean: Motion

13. Favorite part of high school?:

Mick: Baseball definitely

Linus: Playing baseball and making new friends

Sean: Family

14. What is your favorite treat that you'd eat all the time if you could?:

Mick: Candy as in Starbursts

Linus: Fresh chocolate chip cookies

Sean: Pancakes

15. What can you not live without?:

Mick: My friends

Linus: Family & Friends

Sean: My Mom

16. Best book you've ever read?:

Mick: To be honest I don’t read

Linus: One flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest

17. If you could travel or move anywhere, where would that be?:

Mick: Bahamas

Linus: I’d like to travel to Texas

Sean: Hawaii

18. Why do you think it's important to do senior portraits? What was the best part?:

Mick: Making sure your parents have pics of you too see how much you’ve grown through the years.

Linus: To capture an important part of your life. The best part was laughing with my mom.

Sean: i’ve always enjoyed when carmen takes pictures of us the memories are worth it

Would you recommend CHC-Photography?:

Mick: Absolutely, this is my buddy’s mom and she’s a great person and loves taking pictures and not just that she takes great pics if i where u i would book now !!

Linus: Yes I would recommend. She does a great job and makes it feel comfortable.
